The dream as experienced
The dream began with danger and a search for safety, not with an explanation of a spiritual realm. An apparently ordinary room opened into a larger residential school. Students from diverse backgrounds joined one another in music without surrendering their individual styles. A tablet enabled creative sharing, worldwide releases, and suggestions. The dreamer encountered privacy worries, unfamiliar rules, a reunion with Omar, and unresolved questions about a departure. Only near the end did he hear a name remembered as “Allahstate,” “Allahstat,” or “a law state.”
The working spelling Allahstate was chosen afterward. The name's exact sound and meaning remain uncertain.
Interpretation after waking
After waking, the dream became a possible Shapeshifters setting: an in-between school where souls may reunite, recall memories, create, and prepare for another stage. These are developing fictional possibilities, not established facts about the afterlife or religious doctrine. Questions about the school’s rules, Omar’s countdown, Callie’s condition, and the inhabitants of the hidden lounge remain open.
The idea box matters: the dreamer saw strengths and problems in the institution and offered suggestions without trying to command it. The story invites investigation of institutions as well as individuals.
How Allahstate expands the dream
The mission expands from bringing every perspective together to bringing every perspective, every system, and every understanding we can possibly investigate into a process of mutual learning. In the dream, individual musical voices created something together while remaining distinct. The proposed real-world educational parallel is MSB 3.0: compare viewpoints, investigate systems, preserve differences, and evaluate what helps.
Allahstate may eventually connect to Bring It Home and the Box, but the mechanics of that connection have not been finalized.
